Comparison

An aoestats alternative that connects the meta to your next game

aoestats aggregates ranked matches into civilisation statistics and does that job well — it is a good place to see how a civ is performing overall.

AoEII Assistant carries the same kind of aggregate data but pins it to your situation: win rates split by your rating bracket and the map you are on, the openings actually winning with that civ, and a scouting report on the specific player across the table.

What AoEII Assistant brings to the table

Every row below is something the app does today. We have deliberately not written a column of crosses against aoestats — their feature set is theirs to describe, it changes, and a stale comparison table helps nobody.

Questions

Is AoEII Assistant affiliated with aoestats?

No — separate, unaffiliated projects.

How are the civ win rates different?

They are segmented rather than pooled: by ELO bracket, by map, and by ladder (mouse-and-keyboard and controller are separate ladders with genuinely different metas).

Where do the build orders come from?

They are mined from parsed ranked replays — grouped by civ, rating and map, and published with their win rate and sample size so you can judge them.

Not affiliated. AoEII Assistant is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by aoestats. aoestats is named here only to describe how the tools differ. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
