AoEII Assistant ("the app", "we") is operated by TiddlyTech. This policy describes what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the mobile apps, the web app at aoe2assistant.app, and the website at aoe2assist.com.
• Account information. If you create an account we collect your email address (or the identifier provided by Sign in with Apple) and a password hash. An account is optional — core features work without one.
• Game profile links. If you follow players or link your own Age of Empires II profile, we store the public profile IDs you choose and publicly available match data associated with them (ratings, match results, civilizations, maps).
• Purchases. Subscriptions and token purchases are processed by Apple, Google, or Stripe via RevenueCat. We receive purchase state (e.g. "premium active") and an anonymized identifier — never your card details.
• Push tokens. If you enable notifications we store the device push token needed to deliver them.
• We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers, and the app contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Data is used solely to operate the app: signing you in, syncing followed players and preferences across devices, sending match notifications you asked for, unlocking purchased features, and generating AI-powered game analysis from public match and replay data. We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for advertising.
We rely on a small set of processors to run the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel and Fly.io (hosting), RevenueCat and Stripe (billing), Expo (push notification delivery), Anthropic (AI analysis of game data), and Resend (transactional email). Each receives only what is needed to perform its function.
Match histories, ratings, and replays shown in the app derive from publicly available Age of Empires II multiplayer data published by World's Edge / Microsoft. This data is public regardless of whether you use the app.
Account data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time — visit aoe2assist.com/delete-account for instructions, or email support@aoe2assist.com from your account email. Deletion removes your account record, followed players, preferences, purchase links, and push tokens within 30 days; anonymized public match data is unaffected.
All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider. Access to production data is limited to the operator.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
