Live Companion — coaching out loud, while you play

Age of Empires games are decided in the first fifteen minutes, which is exactly when you have no spare hands to read a stats page. Live Companion solves that by talking instead. Prop your phone next to the monitor, and when your ranked match goes live the app recognises it and speaks a scouting brief: who you are facing, their rating, how they perform against players at your rating, how they do on this map, and where their game tends to fall apart. Then it calls timed reminders against the match clock.

1. Open Live Companion. The screen holds itself awake, so nothing sleeps mid-game.
2. Play your ranked game. The app watches your linked profile and catches the match as it starts.
3. Hear the opening brief — rating gap, record against your bracket, record on this map, and their weakest phase.
4. Keep your hands on the game. Timed reminders arrive on the clock; the transcript stays on screen if you play muted.

Because it is measured from your games rather than generic advice, it tells you what you are doing, not what the average player does.
